Lots of people wish for Generations, even LilSimsie published a video on it recently. The devs know we want it.

I've read quite a few times that you like story driven YA only gameplay (I think, not sure), but lots of people like to play families and we haven't got a lot in the past few years. Also some SimGuru said Parenthood was NOT Generations.

There are also lots of people wanting preteens.

I think we'll get something generations like, but not actually "Generations for Sims 3 For Sims 4"

A lot of what LilSimsie was asking for in her Generations video could be filled by a School pack. (Pre-School, Elementary School, High School) And I think a School pack is coming, based mostly on the High School portion of one of the surveys (the most recent one? Not sure.)

As for Pre-Teens... I'm doubtful. Not impossible, but the stage is very short in real life, and I can't think of when they've added a new life stage that will also require a new figure model in an expansion, so Pre-teens would be a base game expansion for 2-5 days of gameplay (maybe up to 15 on long life) that would get next to no support in future expansions... I'd rather they focused on making the School pack good.

And before anyone defends pre-teens with you can play on aging off - they have to judge how viable something is based on Normal lifespan, because that's the default.

You might not enjoy playing them, you made that clear several times already, I also know you don't really want updated babies except for them being not tethered to the crib anymore. But I do and lots of other people do too.

Guess what - I really don't need any more occults. I'd be disappointed if the next pack was occult specified, something with werewolves or fairies or zombies or superheroes, I'd hate that! I probably wouldn't buy it. Didn't buy Sims 3 Supernatural til the very end when it had a big discount. Didn't buy Sims 4 Vampires and Realm of Magic until it had a huge discout.

But I don't spoil these things for people who want them, I don't run around the forums, aggressively stating again and again how much I don't need these things and how much everyone else doesn't need them either. And that's why we would never get them because I'd be like the king of all simmers and exercise sovereignity of determing whether or not everybody else based on my playstyle needs certain gameplay elements in their game.

You do that all the time. Please just stop making people feel miserable about things they want in their game. You do you. Everybody plays the game the way they like. No need to spoil it for people.

We will see if we get preteens and babies like in TS Freeplay or not, and nothing you write again and again and again will change the fact that they're planned and being worked on or that they aren't.
