I've lost some before on accident and yes it hurts. I fairly recently wiped it all on purpose to get a new start with labeling my saves and organizing better from the start and I'm enjoying not digging through to find that one save anymore. If you've been through most of the phases ;)... I agree look at it as a new start. I gotta admit though I do miss some old saves.
