About max characters in names

Question

Hi, I play the game in Brazilian Portuguese and the Landgraab name in my language is "Quero-Tudo-Que-É-Seu", surpassing the max characters allowed. Their names appear ok in games on all occasions, like in the friend list and etc. But recently I decided to edit some outfits of their descendants using the manage households option and I can't save them because their last name is too long. What should I do?

For the time being, I would just give them a shortened version so you can save them, don't worry you can go in and edit their name very easily later on.  I do have one idea, leave out the dashes, or at least enough to put in the lettering of the name.  For example: QueroTudoQue-É-Seu

For example: QueroTudoQue-É-SeuYeah, I should have tried that, but what bothers me the most is the fact this is the official family name since TS2 and somehow it's on allowed in-game but only if I don't edit the family. I wonder what would happen if I'm playing with them and someone borns if I will be able to use their surname at the time to choose the baby's name.Anyway thank you :)
