Yeah, I briefly did detective career, and a lot of the clue stuff was done indoors. From when I played a couple of vamp sims, the vampire should be able to last going into and out of indoors. I sometimes have them go in the shade if they start to smoke a bit or hold an umbrella/parasol, etc.

He's definitely the bad cop taking out his frustration on people around him and if he sometimes wants to use the inmates as plasma packs then... oh well. Besides him being tense all the time (which was my choice since I picked that weakness for him) he can still operate just fine. Though patrolling is something he currently needs to forget about (well, unless you get lucky and it's cloudy) but he should be able to do that in the future when I max out Sun Resistance perk or perhaps mix some sun resistance potions.
