By baby cheat do you mean not eating strawberries/carrots and listening to pop/alternative?
I had a family on Sims 4 once where 5 out of the 6 kids were girls. Sometimes it just happens like that. It’s weird.

Yeah that's what I mean, Maybe i'll try one more time and see what happens.

You could have 10 boys in a row straight and not have anything wrong with your game.

The gender of any given baby is not influenced by the gender of previously born babies. Without a mod gender of birth is always 50/50 unless you've done things in game that influence gender.

I think I've had more girls than boys. My main family had four girls and only one boy. His cousin had two girls and one boy.

It's just the nature of randomness that it often appears nonrandom.

It is 50/50. I completed hundred baby and at one time had 9 boys in a row, another time I think it was 14 girls... but in the end it was 49 boys/51 girls so pretty close to half of each gender.

Just make sure your sims aren''t hearing pop/alternative at night clubs or any ohter location, or eating recipes that have strawberries/carrots in them either, it's not just the plain fruit apparently

Out of 6 births I've had in the game all of them have been boys. I've heard that the game balances out the overall population so if you have more female characters than male you're more likely to get a boy. I'm not sure whether that's true or not.

I've had a run of girls lately so I think the gender balance thing is happening for me too. Before that I had a little run of boys.

I have read somewhere that it depends on the sims in the neighbourhood. One of my save's kept having girls and what I needed was a boy because I have MCCC where family names only carry on through male line.
I finally got twin boys but it was after like 5 girls :( and I never intended on having that many children for that sim! Both she and I were sick of pregnancies by the end of those boys! But also having said that with the cheats eg strawberries/carrots/music, I tried that too and it didn't work, I still had another girl! So I truly believe it depends on what is in the neighbourhood.

That's too few births in a row to figure out without knowing the gender breakdown of other births in the neighborhood.

Gender is random unless your Sims do things that influence gender.

Our brains find patterns easily and is quick to find patterns in true randomness. iPod Shuffle had to make its shuffle less random in order for people to think that it is was actually shuffling at random.

In one of my most recent saves my family had fourteen children( I used mods) and only 3 of them were girls. Drove me nuts cause I was doing a matriarchy at the time where the line was passed down from the females.
