Any way to save sims inventory when moving to a new save?

My current save is messed up so I want to move my sim to a new save but with their personal items, such as graduation pic and diploma. Is there any way to save those items so I can put them in the new...

Have them keep their furniture when they move. Also, get one or more of the trunks that came with Uni and put the personal stuff in there. That should keep your stuff. At least it used to. Best of luck.
