Nope, if I feel like changing something I do it and don't feel sorry about it. At the end of the day no one else is going to enjoy my game except for me... so I do as I please without regret. I don't have much experience with the genetics in this game but from what I've seen, sometimes children end up with completely unrealistic features, even if the parents looked normal.
