Baby Name Ideas!

I have a tendency to go with themes that don't have people names, normally. My most memorable family in sims 3 were named after video games. Not video game characters, but video games.

I've used brands, Federation and Federation-aligned planets, cartoons (not cartoon characters), and am currently using codenames from Marvel Comics characters as naming themes

In 3, this led to the founder's spouse rolling a wish to "Woohoo with Ducktales."


It's entertaining.

Some of the new sims I have given unusual names. Don't ask where some of these even came from...they just kind of popped in my head haha

I think they do because I use my real life surname a lot (what with simselfs and such) and it's not a common name but I met a townie, a repairman who had the same surname. It was pretty cool. I never seen it since so I guess it doesn't use them all the time.

EDIT: As to the baby names...

Neville, Nigel, Ned, Nate and Neal for boys.

Nell, Nancy, Nora, Naomi and Nicole for girls.

Guess I'm going through a 'N' phase.

I like names that like Harper, Page, Hunter, Archer, Piper, Baily, Carter, that kind of thing. But I still usually just name things what they are. Like my snake, Snakey.

I'm glad those are the only ones you highlighted. LOL Yes it fun to make silly names for Sims and brand names work sometimes. That's cool. I tend to name my Sims 2 alien toddlers after space things like Nebula and Comet. I can't believe a Hostess food was censored. :(

I always give my sims unconventional names, and children are no exception. But I'm still having a hard time figuring out a suitable name for the child of Simm Boyo and Gerly Gerl.
