Best way to display produce in a retail store?

Question

What is the best way to display fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers, etc for sale in a retail store?

Right now I have them spaced out on the “Much Modern Display Shelves”. So it looks like 1 single pear, then 1 foot over there is one single apple, then another foot over is another single item, etc... it looks really bad.

Is there a better display I am missing or any tips to help my produce section look better?

I just saw a mod for this the other day.  It works like the display tables you see at the Flea Market, but the fruit is stored in the table's inventory.  The creator made the table look like it is group up by different vegetable types like you see at any real grocery market.  If I can find a link to it I'll post it.

I wonder if it works with flowers and herbalism plants. I want to set up a gardening center but I haven't found anything that holds all the plants/seeds.

I just put harvestables in the fridge and use themed decor items on the floor space.
