Brown dig patches?

It seems all the mineral and frog spawners have been replaced in foundry cove with brown dig patches, when and why did this happen?
  • My sim is able to dig the brown patches when I mouse over them , but what do you get from doing so?
  • quick question is there a mod to add the spawning rocks? cos ive only been able to find 2 rocks max 3 in willow creek community area and only in one little spot
  • Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. We had a dog crisis. She's getting older and managed to break off one of her upper canine teeth, and her vet can't pull it (it's actually minor surgery for a dog, because the root is massive) until this Thursday, so managing her is like taking care of a teething baby.

Anyway, I tend to avoid Mods. Perhaps there is a cheat code or two out there. You can always find excellent compilations on Reddit. As for the screen shots, I took some for you as promised, but they are not showing up in my desktop Sims folder. I'll go back and take them the old fashioned way. To heck with the in-game camera! lol

I've been finding a lot of nodes on the Bluffs and in the area below the ruins in Windenburg lately. Trouble is you need to walk your sim through the area. Then the trees and plants start to show up and finally the nodes and dirt piles. So far the dirt piles have only yielded low level upgrading parts and a couple of time capsules, nothing of any real interest. You don't need a pet to dig in them, and I understand why the developers added to every world. It would cause the game to explode to limit them to games that only ran Cats and Dogs.

As for Willow Creek, I'll poke around and see if the collection node generator is buggy. Willow Creek was always the tricky one with the exception of the neighborhood with the "magic" tree that only Master Gardeners can access. The park mostly has flowers, trees and plants. But I'll snoop around.

Talk to you in a day or two....

I noticed this weekend (I played sooooo many hours) that more often than not brown dig spots would generate. They also don't go away when I dig them up, which is weird because they would prior. Then next day they would spawn again, or it would alternate b/t rocks and logs.
