Seems like a bug a nasty one. I had this too with the festival teas and normal ones from the the tea stands. Drink one and you're ok drink two and your sim getting uncomfortable and drink tree your sim will out too die until you let them drink water. Seems a bug too the hot drink which schould make your sims warm in cold weather.
