Can a Sim visit another residential lot to help with farm?

My sim lived on a farm friendly lot, with the chicken coop as his responsibility. He is set to inherit this lot, but moved temporarily in with his girlfriend. I now wonder if he will be allowed to sti...

I haven't tried that specifically but I don't see why the Always Welcome reward trait wouldn't help with that. Sims with that trait can make themselves at home on another sim's lot, I would assume that would extend to animal care and gardening.

You could also put the family in a club, have the parent's house be the meeting place, and have them garden as one of the activities. I don't know if tending to animals is a club activity or not though.
