Can I move one spouse to another household without the other?

I am trying to do the Nerd Brain aspiration and I'm at the part where I need to own a Rocket. I can't own it in the apartment, but another household has one. Can I move just the Sim that needs the rocket to the household that has one, without it impacting the marriage or the kids that stay in the apartment in any way? Once I take care of those goals of the aspiration I will move the Sim back, but I need to know if I should move anyone else too or if it's okay to move just the one Sim for a time. Thanks!!

It should be fine to move out a sim. Relationships like marriage and children shouldn't change when a sim moves out. :)

It should be fine. I had a sim whose parents divorced. They lived in separate houses and my sim would switch households every 3-4 days.

Yep. Relationships won’t be affected when switching households. I have a male sim who has three kids between his ex girlfriend and current wife and I switch often so he can bond with all of his children and the kids can bond too.
