Can I move one spouse to another household without the other?

I am trying to do the Nerd Brain aspiration and I'm at the part where I need to own a Rocket. I can't own it in the apartment, but another household has one. Can I move just the Sim that needs the roc...

Yep. Relationships won’t be affected when switching households. I have a male sim who has three kids between his ex girlfriend and current wife and I switch often so he can bond with all of his children and the kids can bond too.
