Theoretical situation:Someone logs into EA account A on their computer. Account A has a lot of Sims 4 DLC. They build something using all the packs.They log off EA account A.Someone logs into EA account B on the same computer. Account B is base-game only.If this person opens Sims 4, will they see the things that were built on the other account in their library?I understand that if they place it in their game, anything they don't own will disappear, but will they see the lot or household in their personal library at all? Or would the person using account A need to upload it to the Gallery first, even though they're using the same computer?

I’m trying it out right now. One account has almost all the packs except for a few. all the saves from my “main” account are there for me to play but it gives me two options. I can view the packs that are missing in account B and buy them or continue with missing content.

I loaded a family and they’re completely bald and in their underwear cause they were wearing items from the other packs.?? their house is also missing items form other packs and some objects have been replaced with BG items. The items I saved from the library in my main save are still there for account B to download but again items will be missing

The sims & builds in the library, as well as saves (I've played the same save on both accounts) are available to both accounts, but both accounts don't share packs. What I mean is if account A has cottage living account B *won't* have it unless you buy it under account B. And no, if you buy cottage living (to continue our example) for account B you won't have two copies of it. You'll pay for it, but the game will use the one already on your computer. At least that's been my experience.

The saves and the personal library are all accessible, they'll just remove/swap out missing content.@Starfree There will probably be a lot of households getting separate accounts now that the base game is going to be free. It's nice knowing that saves will still be there, even if the purchased items won't be.

Can one computer use 2 EA/Sims 4 accounts?

You should be able too; one computer will be in offline mode however.

Also...

If you have different user accounts for each user of the computer then they would have different document folders and therefore different saves, tray, screenshots, mods etc too.

This is good if you want to have different mods or mod settings for children as you can keep all the adult mods etc in your own game, but only install child-friendly ones on their accounts.

It would also mean you don't have to constantly log in and out of EA on different accounts, as each user account should remember their own log-in info.

When my grown daughter was living with us for a time, she used my account on a different computer in the same house. Her stuff did get saved onto my gallery, IE her Sims, but that was about all. Don't know if this accurately answers your question, since we used two different machines, but, I thought I'd put in my two cents' (really six cents due to inflation) worth.

My daughter and I use the same account in the same house. She's gotten really good at building though, so I thought she could get her own (free base-game) account and upload from her gallery.

She doesn't want to build base-game-only though, and doesn't want to build under my account, then log into a different account to upload under her own name. But now I know it would work! lol
