Can we reattach culled family member relationships?

So theoretically yes, depending on what you want. You can use relationship cheats. I am sure MCCC can do something too, I am just not familiar with the mod.

Do you want the uncle to just show up in the tree and stay dead or want to bring another version of him back? The latter is easier. Genuinely. All you have to do for the latter is to put the relevant relatives in CAS and plop a new/library version in and adjust the relationships. I use this method a lot with premades to make them more interesting.

The former, though? Less sure of. Culling is wiping for space so you will probably need some version to establish with cheats/mods in the first place.

I re-created my sim self's parents from scratch after the originals died and were culled from the game. However, my family tree broke when i joined the relationships with MCCC and ended up showing my dead father and the new father as my parents and the new mother as my step mother!

I just noticed that's not the only relationship in my game that got detached after a sim died. I have copies of those sims but the family tree is so big that I don't want to go through the trouble of editing it. I know what you mean though Calico45, I have used copies of sims before. I just wish there was a way to keep a sim dead but not have the family tree break apart when you view it.

Brd709, I've had that issue before trying to reattach children to their parents that got accidently culled. When I restarted my save game, I kept the children and just pretended they were adopted by another couple.
