I played the same sim for quite awhile, had 17 traits on her and nearly 11 maxed skills. I wanted to start a new game for a legacy with the same sim (since her romantic relationship seemed to be glitched), so I saved her to the gallery and then used her to create a new sim in CAS. I have been bringing this up in every thread that is relevant. She is the same Sim. The game does NOT reset the sim in CAS. All these people talking about mothers becoming sisters or roommates need to make sure they are not using Sims from the gallery, editing them, and then placing them in the same world that already has that Sim. They are the same Sim. Always, always, always make a twin.As for making a twin...it should be the exact same facial features. Unless this is related to the aging glitch in the male features where they get smaller eyes and a larger chin. All the twins I make look the same. I will go and play a bit more.

That's what I did, unfortunately. :( I knew that she would be the same if I saved her and just put her in a new town, but I thought for sure that she would fully reset if I recreated her.

Is there not a copy of her in your library from when you first created her? (Unless she was born in-game of course). My game has saved copies of my CAS households automatically.

I deleted it awhile ago since I've edited her body shape and face so many times since I created her. :( I'm regretting that now.

Can't get rid of traits and skills for gallery sim.

It could just be me, y'know. Too attached to my sim to accept that the twin is an exact copy or somethin'.

The only difference I can see is a slightly different skintone? And the mouth too perhaps (the top lip), but again, VERY slight. Or my mind might just be playing tricks on me for staring at the two pics for so long! :P At any rate, the twin looks like a near perfect doppleganger if there's no other way around it.

As far as I can tell the only solution is to cheat the skills back down. I have no idea about the traits.

I have a similar problem, got a sim from the gallery and all the skills are so high and all the satasfaction point rewards are unlocked and and they have 600k satasfaction points and i want it all down to normal as i like challenges and improving :cry: could anyone help? (ik this thread is old but i cant make a new fourm post for some reason)
