Hahaha that's not what I meant :P I'm not bothered by the look of the grid, I actually want the feature of the grid gone so I can place decoration on my table however I want it, but I'm curious if there's a way to do that, and it looks like there isn't :/

Holding the alt button while placing allows you to place an object where you want with much more freedom
Thank you for that! At first when I used alt I didn't exactly know how to use it so I only thought you could rotate however you wanted with it, but now I got it to work :)
