cheat to take money away?

“Sims.modify_funds +/-###” –Adds or subtracts value from current funds

There's a funds cheat -- I believe you do testingcheats true first and then it is just "money xxx" for whatever quantity you want.

Yes. Testingcheats true Money

The easiest way is to enter the household and simply type how much their account should be.

1. Bring up the cheating line (Ctrl+SHIFT C)
2. testingcheats on
3. money 20000 (if you want them to have §20.000)

I tryed doing Sims.modify_funds-398 when I was trying to take away $398 and it did not work! can anyone help me?

First, make sure you do testingcheats on
Then, leave a space in there: Sims.modify_funds -398

Actually, this is from over 2 years ago, the latest reply was a year ago. To set money to whatever you want it to be it is simply:

Money xxxx

in the cheat window. familyfunds (amount) was Sims 3, not sims 4.

A really easy way:
Ctrl shift c (open cheat box)
Testingcheats true
Money (amount of money you want works for adding or subtracting)
