Console control change completely ruining free camera

For whatever reason, controls on xbox1 have been changed. Now in free camera, you can not zoom in or out AT ALL without unpausing/pausing the game.
As someone who takes a lot of screenshots, this is really annoying. It’s aggravating to buy the new pack and barely being able to take screenshots of it.
