My nephew and I still prefer the socializing of Sims 3, mean interactions actually meant something. Sims 4 is way too happy about everything. Sims dies, husband doesn't care five minutes later because the decor is just too nice. Sims have a hug break up but still manage to be extremely happy a few hours after because who remembers that sims right?
I like the aesthetic of Sims 4, but I don't play it for the gameplay, I play it for the pretty pictures and that's it. For real gameplay and drama I go back to Sims 2 or 3.
