In all fairness 'realistically speaking' as you put it. Sims is a virtual game, not real.
In all fairness, my response was in reply to those who are going on about the loss of CASt not being a big deal because 'realistically speaking' in the real world we don't have many options when we go to a box store to buy our sofas. Some people are saying here that it is perfectly natural, acceptable and REALISTIC that in this world we don't get many options so why should we get them in a game.
I was pointing out that 'realistically speaking', in this real world, we DO get far more options and often unlimited options when it comes to choosing to customize our environment, so the whole 'realistic' bullplum about not being able to pick my own color curtains is absolute nonsense.
I am well aware it is a game. I've been well aware of that for some time. I am not sure you will find anyone here who isn't already aware of that fact. Well, save for one or two. The realistic argument is invalid. A lot of stuff in Sims is far removed from realistic. Then to turn and say we shouldn't expect something in the game because we can't have it real life.. when we do, silliness.
