Dim Interior Lighting (Easy Fix - NOT a glitch)

I noticed when my sims first entered the game and the house that the lighting was so dark. I was afraid there wasn't anything I could do about it. It is not a glitch. The easy fix I found (don't laugh...

I will be playing this weekend so after playing I will tweet every sim guru about this. I don't think this is a difficult thing for them to adjust. Many players have expressed that indoor lights are not bright enough. its too dim.
