Disappointed with City Living
I purchased City Living a little over a week ago while it was on sale for 60% off. What I've now found in my shortish time playing the pack, that this City Living is but a shadow of what it could have...

I just got it 50% off. I didn't have any "city packs" in the sims 3, and didn't play before, the only experience I had with the sims and a city was The Urbz, on gamecube, which I really liked, especially that each neighborhood was so unique. So, my point is, I couldn't really compare with anything.
I like the city, San Myshuno, it's beautiful and it changes from the other worlds. I also like all the new recipes, the cas, the new careers, the festivals, and of course, the possibility of living in apartments. Having more sims of different cultures is very nice, it brings more diversity. I also like the run-down/dump apartments, they feel quite realistic.
Now, I am disappointed that :
- We cannot (re)build apartments, only penthouses.
- There are no empty lots, so you can't place or build anything without bulldozing the lot beforehand. (I haven't tried yet, I hope we can replace some karaoke bars with restaurants or a bowling or whatever)
- You can't build apartment buildings/towers either
- There isn't that much to do besides the festivals and karaoke bars.
- I would have liked having the possibility to take the subway, the bus, or a taxi.
