Do I need to graduate college for my Sim to get an advantage in the E-Sports branch?

Hi, my Sims are currently in University, and one of them is a E-Sports competitor, and I’d like for them to become a E-Sports gamer as their career, but I was curious, does my Sim need to graduate in order for the bonuses to take effect, or can they leave University after they make Captain? Any help is greatly appreciated :)

No, you don't need to graduate. In fact, when your sim is at the top of the E-Sports activity, you may even get phone calls telling your sim to drop out and join the E-Sports career.

Edit. I still wonder how on earth could I make such typos. Coin instead of join? Excuse me? How could my sleep schedule betray me?
