Do roommates woohoo & other households have children?

I've just started using roommates and seen a few flirt, I don't use any mods (just CC) but I was curious if they actually ever do more than flirt and autonomously woohoo on your lot? I've honestly ...

No household will have children on their own, whether you have played them or not. Unless you play them and leave a sim in a pregnant state, in which case the pregnancy will proceed whilst you are off playing someone else.
