@Writin_Reg - can't agree with you there. Participating in TS4 polls can legitimately require an EA/Maxis account, but cannot legitimately require an account anywhere else. Or to put it another way, requiring us to give our data to yet another data-collecting corporation in order to have a say in game developments ain't okay.

This is from the Sims Twitter page - you do have to have a verified account to post in The Sims official twitter. So EA obvious bought a Official domain or business account for this site to conduct business with their Sims players.
