I have a test save file that I use when there's a patch to test mods to see if they still work (like the smaller tuning mods; script mods like MCCC or UI Cheats I know will break), or to check out new B/B content and CAS. Although I have taken the Sims in that test save and used them in other saves so I guess I do play them regularly. One is a Sim I created using the tutorial (just to try it out), then I added a teen sister through CAS when I wanted to see if teens could do the Sulani odd jobs.
