- kirpiplays7 years agoSeasoned AceHmm nope. All the sims in my save are unique
- I never place the same sim in multiple houses in the same save file because I think it'd be weird to see them walking around lol. But I have reused sims in different save files if I really like them!
- Seeing the same Sims walking around all the time would feel too much like a glitch in the matrix! :D So no, I prefer everyone to be a unique special snowflake. :p
- Nah. I'd find it weird to see multiple of my own sims in one world.

LOL did your sim take the blue pill or the red pill?- Scorpina -
In past sims games if there was a duplicate Sims unless they were twins with different names and such it created an issue with the A.I. and would eventually make the game unplayable. It is, I believe why even the science clones all have different names and tiny differences to avoid that happening. Seeing they included the slight differences and different names when a clone is made - I would assume that is still an issue within the game programming itself - so you may start getting problems with the saves that have exact clones.
I know in the past even a single exact clone - even the name itself - was a game headed for serious trouble. They used to tell us even if you accidentally got an exact clone - do not try to fix it - as it would still be a glitch in the files - they called them doppelgangers. If we saw any - they said our best way to avoid any issues with the game itself was quit that game and remove it from your system - and totally restart.
In Sims 2 it was a real pain as we had to totally uninstall the game and clean our registry. Then reinstall the game and start totally over from scratch. Apparently even old save files were affected. I guess they cause some sort of game corruption eventually.
Sims 3 it was even more troublesome if you used dopplegangers in the game and store them in the bin - the game it self would start making dopplegangers of those Sims- sometimes in big numbers even - they'd be everywhere and eventually the game would become unplayable - even though it (the game) did it - itself all because you used dopplegangers in the game and saved the household to a bin (your library). - No, this is really strange to me. I didn't know anyone did that!
- I have a favorite sim. I don't play him in various households of the same save though. I've been playing him(with various last names) since before Get to Work came out in 2015. I brought him back out for my new Seasons save.

Yeah - I have several sims I like to bring back when I start a new game.
