I'm curious how adding the cancel button (it's that circle thing the welcome wagon has, right?) would somehow disrupt the 'integrity' of the game or event? Just... don't... click it? Event happens. Same as always? It's not like you get advanced notice, as the cancel button or whatever wouldn't pop up until it was already happening anyway, so...?
How does having the choice to cancel an event stop it if you don't cancel it? Should the welcome wagon be forced on you too? Would that somehow be 'better'? I'm legit curious.
Because I can tell you right now, if you're equating 'realism' to 'integrity' and I see ol' Vlad coming up to my door? He'd have to kick it in with his super strength or teleport in or super hypnotize me or some other such thing because I'm not dumb enough to open my house to old creepers, lol.
