Do you make your sim self?

Yes my Simself is also running around the Simworlds. I also made my pug and my cat <3. But I actually never play them. But I find it funny when my Simself is interacting with my Sims :).

I did in the past, but I would always stop before myself/my parents could die. There was something morbid about it to me.

I’ve thought about it but never have. I guess it doesn’t interest me. It would feel a little weird, too. I play the Sims for an escape, so I don’t really want to see myself or anyone in my life walking around in my game. The whole death thing is a good point, too, that I never thought about. I play with aging off, but accidental deaths happen. There have been so many near-death experiences from dryer fires in one of my households. It wouldn’t sit well with me to see my simself die or even being caught on fire. :s

I made my simself for a challenge and I think I already told the story of how he got himself abducted and gave birth to a daughter at the second-to-last day of that challenge. Afterwards I'd play the two of them occasionally, but it turned extremely awkward when he got closer to another sim I had created. I saved father and daughter to the library where they still remain today.

The erstwhile love interest founded a family of her own. Two families, in fact. She passed away in my main save, but I'm playing her with another husband in a side save at the moment where she's one of the candidates I'm grooming for Get Famous. I really like this sim, just not in a romantic way.

I do not make real people but I do recreate real buildings or places.

I've tried several times, and only so many because I can never get it accurate enough. It's a fun challenge, but also frustrating. I feel like they look like alternate dimension versions of myself, where they look like me mostly but something is just kind of off. I never play as my Sim self though. I make her purely for the challenge of making a Sim look like a real life person. Part of the reason I don't play is because I feel like I need more space for traits. Real people have so many traits that make them up, it's so hard to just pick three! And none of the aspirations really suit me (if I even knew what I wanted irl, lol).

I made my Simself and Sim Hubby for a Special Event challenge on the forums. I've used my Simself for another CAS challenge on here too. I've never played either one other than those two times. I did briefly play our couple after taking screenshots for the first challenge though. I just sent them to Granite Falls camping because we both enjoy that and the pack had just come out. Please excuse the horrible graphics in the following screenshots. They were taken when I was playing the game with my toaster of a laptop.

*Note - These are our young adult versions. I haven't attempted an adult version of us yet and not sure if I ever will.

I don't like to play real people in my game either, but I do have one in my game as a townie. I see him around town now and then, filling in as a bartender, food stand worker, server in a restaurant, dancing in clubs and one time he was a detective. lol It's fun having him in the game and makes me laugh because in reality he's a Global Superstar singer, Adam Lambert. <3

I did! My icon is a similar version to my Simself but not quite it. It was the first family I made. I now make other Sims that are notnafter people I know. I make it more random now.

I use the game to make up stories so I doubt I'd enjoy playing myself. I tried once but she didn't look anything like me and I ended up deleting the save.

I make my sim self in one save file and then mostly play other families in my other saves. I think it's fun to make a fantasy life for myself, but I agree that it's difficult to get past one or two generations, not that it's a problem.
