Do you miss the interconnected timeline/canon and stories of the previous games?

I don’t miss them since I have all 4 Sims games currently installed on my PC. I can say that TS2 will always have a special place for me, as it was the game I started with right after I got married and settled into my first home. I still play it from time to time, and it is the only iteration that I can say I truly love all the premades and their stories.
