Do you play any TV shows characters in your game? (2019 edition)

I hope this isn't considered necroposting - I was interested is starting a thread like this, but searched for one first and as one is already on the forum, I thought I'd just add to it.

I have a celebrity save game, I DL a bunch of movie and tv stars and added them to my game. What I did, was make them characters from tv shows or movies, so they are not actually the stars in the game.

Some of them are:
-Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as Mr. And Mrs. Smith, both secret agents with ethnically diverse adopted children.
-Lucille Ball and her two teenagers from the tv show Here's Lucy
-Johnny Depp as Barnabas Collins from the movie Dark Shadows, vampire
-Cher from the movie Moonstruck
-Elvis Presley from Jailhouse Rock
-Bette Davis from Whatever Happened to Baby Jane
-And the cast's from TV's Raising Hope, The Middle, That 70's Show, and Fresh Prince of Bel-Aire

And many more!

I wonder if that Duke Nukem is the one LGR made? (He's a youtuber who does a GREAT Duke Nukem voice...so much so that he voiced the duke in a parody game a few years back. He's known for using a Duke Nukem sim to test various Sims 3/4 expansions.)


I once had some Star Trek characters in my game, but mostly when I do characters it's from books. I recently did the kids from the California Diaries series -- Dawn (also of Babysitters Club), Maggie, Sunny, Amalia, and Ducky.

Nope, but I have Chris Martin, Marilyn Manson, Amy Winehouse and Shirley Manson running around in my save. I also have the endless from the Sandman.

No, but I played with Stardew Valley game characters once.

Yeah, I tend to do this a lot. Sadly, a lot of my past saves have gotten lost/corrupted, but some that I've done in the past are:

Xena and Gabrielle
A legacy challenge with Danaerys Targaryen
an asylum challenge with sims based on Westerosi major houses
Powerpuff girls
The Addams Family

And right now I have a save where: Mulder and Sculley are investigation Strangerville, and I'm setting up a whole world/save based on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Eventually I'm planning to do another asylum challenge there, but set up is taking a while lol.

Yes but mostly as background townies. I play a few on occassion. Mostly from Primeval but I added some from Death in a paradise to my island save

No, but I do have characters from video games. Or, well, just the Life is Strange video game. And I mean I recreated every single character from that game, even the background characters. I even recreated some guy that was in the game for, like, one scene. He didn't even have a name, but he's still in my game.

Like, I was so into that game that, back when I played the Sims 3, I literally recreated the Life is Strange game scene-for-scene. I mean, the pictures were bad, but still. I had fun taking them. Here's an example:




I'm about to do the same for the Sims 4, actually. This time it'll be the sequel to Life is Strange that I'll recreate.

So, yeah. That's how I play the Sims, if I'm being honest. I recreate things I love.

currently playing with Scott McCall and Stiles Stilinski from teen wolf, planning to add in Theo and Lydia, and some of the others, as soon as I've got the first two settled in.

No movie characters, but an actor. I made Ed Wood once when I was going to try to make a bad performance as possible during filming, but that's it.
