My sim worked really hard in high school and I was super proud she got Valedictorian. I was very scared that graduation won't work or show in my game, I have had bad luck with it, but this time the event showed. My sim practiced her speech everyday before the big day. When she arrived at the graduation she was not wearing a gown, so I thought Here we go, its not gonna work again. It was never called, the graduation ended and she changed back to normal clothes and went home empty handed. Did this happen because she is a Valedictorian?Please any help would be appreciated <3

If your sim's name is not called, just click on the principal before the graduation ends and you can receive a diploma.

I had to do that that way.

I feel like that the diplomas aren't personalized. The diploma my sim received didn't show her name or if she graduated with honors or not or anything. So any build mode diploma there is would replace that for me...

Thanks for the tip @EgonVM. My sim I am currently playing is almost done with University now, but if I play another teen soon I will keep that in mind for graduation :)

You’re lucky to have got that far. My sims graduated on a Tuesday when she aged up to YA and it said she was Valedictorian. I enrolled her in Uni and had her live on-campus but when Sunday rolled around, there was no a graduation event at all ?. I’m starting to think that your sim can’t have a job or even split from the household if you want to have a graduation.

I had no event but I knew it was starting at 6pm at the Auditorium so I gate crashed that event by arriving 5:30pm and waiting until the graduation started LOL

I insisted as you explained above to receive the diploma and wolla :)

My sim is almost done with her degree at uni now, but she went to the auditorium via travel option and gate crashed that graduation, looks like it happens 6pm every Sunday in the game regardless of what your sims are doing. Perhaps give that a go @MayaRose1138 ;)
