I just went to play TS4. I find the music and sounds are quiet compared to other games, so I always turn my speakers up much louder for TS4. I have a good set of M-Audio monitoring speakers so they go quite loud. Anyways, I got into the game and the first thing that happened when getting into the world is a huge burst of the sound of thunder blasting through my speakers. It made me jump in my chair lol! I swear the thunder is like 3 times louder than any other sound in the game.

Yeah, pretty loud, but for me the realism is about right, meaning that the really loud boomers aren't overdone.

I jumped in my seat the first time I heard it too lol. The thunder can be loud and a bit startling especially if you're not expecting it, but I think it's pretty true to reality.

It's totally awesome! I love that it makes me jump. A bit of excitement in an otherwise calm game.

I mean it's realistic but if you have a subwoofer connected to your system then prepare to have EVERYTHING within the general vicinity of your computer vibrate. The thunder is THAT loud. I was hoping there was a mod to make it a little quieter, which is how I found this thread. ?

It’s louder and more intense than the storms that happen when you’re running around the wilderness in Skyrim.

Is there a way to turn it down in the audio settings. I know you can adjust a lot of individual sound aspects in there. If not you can turn the storms off in the seasons settings. For me, I’m with the love the storms crowd.

It's the best part of seasons!!! I thrive in thunderstorms and love the loud noise (in game) ???
Don't give them any ideas. Next thing you know my precious thunderstorms are nerfed ?
