Does cooking a single serving take as long as a family or group meal?

I have a household with two adults, and I want one of them to get their cooking skill up. I'd rather not make group meals, because then there's leftovers meaning you don't have to cook your next meal....

The leftovers come in handy if you are in a rush, and if too much food builds up in the fridge you can do what I do:

Pick up individual servings and hold a bake sale/homemade food sale with the sales tables.



I never thought about doing that. Great idea!
