EA is bored to make worlds for the sims 4..

I'd be surprised if we didn't see a new world in the next EP. I'm personally happy with the hoods we have, now, (after I spent a few hours fleshing them out with lots from the gallery.) though the writer in me aches for a city-themed world.

I think the problem they (don't want to) face is the 180 sim limit and how unpopular culling is within the community. Taking the time to deal with it would stand in the way of making money. It will eventually catch up to them just like so many other issues.

@John_Salonica So EA is lazy because the made it so everyone can enjoy the new world instead of locking it behind the GP so only people who bought the GP could enjoy the world?

Are the also lazy because they are giving the dishwashers away to everyone for free and not locking those behind the SP?

You sound very unappreciative. Nothing says they have to give us free content. They were being nice by doing so even if it doesn't use completely new decoration assets. It takes time to design a map and they took the time and did it and then offered it free. If you don't like it, you have the option of not using it in your game.

I think @SimGuruSarah is over game packs. Maybe you should direct message her or write a message to her on her wall saying that she and her team are lazy if you have such a big problem with it. I am sure she will appreciate your feedback.

I don't think they're lazy and I don't expect a world with every EP and GP. It would be Awesome to get new ones with new themes and I want them, just I know not all of them will have a new world. And it's okay, they don't all need one. -imo. :)

Well, you sort of can't blame them when they read snips of what they have said on many subjects. It's a fact they have said that complicated is their enemy, and they set out to avoid complicated things having to be done in the game about particular things. Said they hated the complication of how to make Sims carry around babies in the TS3 and wanted to avoid that in the TS4 'the complication' and due to time restraints complicated is their enemy....so, that's not the only time we have read 'that's really hard to do and we wanted to not do hard stuff but bring in new stuff'....that is what people read when they make statements like that, lol. So, you can't blame people when they have often said 'that's hard.' Or something like the technology in the TS4 is more complicated...so we couldn't do that,...concerning creating new beard meshes, as only one example when speaking about why stuff isn't in the game.

I don't know if I would call it lazy, but I do think it's probably more complicated to create worlds in 4 than in the past 2 games. Almost everything is an object in the worlds we have now. From the fake houses that are placed all over, to the roads and sidewalks. They are all fixed in place in the current world they are in. That would explain why Newcrest is a copy/paste job. They don't have any other road pieces to work with besides the ones that were created for Willow Creek.

I do expect every expansion to now come with a new world, not just a neighborhood or 2. GTW added the smaller neighborhood to date, and they know that players were not happy with that. If we don't see a full world in the second EP then it goes to show that even the developers have problems creating new worlds.

You missunderstand me. I said EA is lazy to make worlds for the sims 4 not EA is lazy! I really appreaciate the free contect and for the ''Nothing says they have to give us free content'' TWO WORDS: THEY HAVE . We are costumers. We are fans . We play the game and I think we have the right to ask for more (BASE GAME ) contect . I know SimGuruSarah is over game packs and I really like game packs and I have contact with her many times.

You know Im human too, I prefer to get something for free but they said it is a new world and actually it isnt. I just said what I feel girl..Also I said that because they thought , because they gave us a free world they dont had to give us a world with a game pack.
