Sage of Practical Magic
This sim (by default Simeon Silversweater) is one of three sages, giving a quest to sims in order for them to become a spellcaster (if they have no connection to magic) and teaching Practical spells and all Alchemy potions. Teaches the Ultimate Spell called Rite of Ascension.

You need to use these cheat on these sims:
traits.equip_trait trait_MagicSage_PracticalRemember, playing with the sim again will remove their role.
Template:
Sims generated for this role are adult or elder Spellcaster sims.
They have rank 5 in Spellcaster experience and have every perk available.
They know every Practical spell and Alchemy potions.
They have 2 to 4 random base game skills (level unspecified).
They never have this trait: Slob.
