Either I or the game messed up. I need a cheat.

My sim is a fashion influencer/trendsetter. In her job description it said she had to get to level 4 of the painting skill. I got her tablet, she painted a picture and got to level 4. The job descript...

I have had that happen a few times in my game with that career in particular. The skill level in the the job panel would not update. But my Sims still got promoted without any issues. So I consider it a minor bug. Does your Sim meet all the other requirements, including the performance bar being full, and is still not being promoted?
