Lag sometimes in Live Mode but nothing serious, I have started to get heavy lag spikes when I am exiting build mode and I have noticed that other game changers have the same problem so I think the problem could be with the game. Zooming in and out with the camera sometimes fixes it.
I have also noticed that Seasons can drag performance down significantly if you have snow or rain.
I also try to avoid having lots with many mirrors as they also decrease performance. And I often rebuild my lots to avoid simulation lag which happens when the same sims try to use the same objects.
Getting rid of NAP's and using mods to reduce the celebrity reactions helps too.
