Finally..WHAT'S NEEDED!

For once, some packs had a useful tie-in. Yes, I am talking about Outdoor Retreat & Jungle Adventure. For me, personally, when it comes to DLC, it is the routinic experience of exploring the pack then never re-using AT LEAST 50% of the features. An example to further explain my point is there is now an incentive to explore the Herbalism skill in Outdoor Retreat to increase your chances of survival upon exploring the Jungles. If this trend continues, we can expect greater replayability for packs

Yay for tie-ins <3

    With a much expected Casino Game Pack - we will see the merging of entertainment into the Casino - Sims will be able to entertain via:
    Singing;
    Playing an instrument;
    Comedy;
    Maybe a puppet show;
    etc,

    Not really happening since the game is supposed to be catered to an audience of teenage girls.

    We had casino items in the Sims 3 Store, so maybe we do get a casino game pack, or maybe we even get slot machines and table games in an SP, and like Bowling Night Stuff you can put them in bar, nightclub or lounge venues and Sims would be attracted to use them.

    I didn't know you could actually use the herbalism skill with stuff from JA! How can you do that? I mean does the insect repellent even work in the jungle?

    Haven't tried it yet but apparently so; not sure if it works against the spiders or just insects like the fireflies.
  • The packs for me always end up tie in with each other.

    Like for me the sims 3 late night and showtime tie in well.
    For this game for me

    All the modern stuff tie in well.
    Parenting, toddler, kids and backyard do to.

    It works quite well in the jungle and wards off the effects from spiders and bees.

    True, but that was Sims 3, and specifically through the Store no doubt. I don't see the appeal of buying those Store items and since they didn't bring the Store to S4 (and I personally find that grateful) I still doubt anything involving gambling could happen in S4, regardless what uses we could have for them. I personally wouldn't mind casino objects, but my opinion doesn't really matter.
