Is there a way to use the fish traps from Island Living outside of Sulani? Has anybody tried to set the traps in ponds yet? I’m currently at work and won’t be able to test it out. I’d love to be able to fish that way, specially with Cottage Living and farming.
bb.moveobjects works great in my swamp! A Sim can set the trap and check it. I didn't play long enough to have it fill up with fish but I'm positive it'll work. Make sure to place it in shallow water so it's only half submerged, otherwise it could cause routing issues.
So did it work? When I placed a fishtrap in the ocean while moveobjects was till active, that confused my game and the trap never filled up. The sims could "check" it, but got no catch in several days. (Great screenshot b.t.w., love that swamp!)

It worked for me, but I only discovered it by chance. I just wanted to have it for decoration in the pond. I did not have tested it extensively. Before CL I had the same issue with traps in Sulani so it might be a bug. I can't remember but I don't think moveobjects as active.
