Hi! hope all is well, and things have improved for you @Paigeisin5 :)
I have given up on the pets, and decided to start a rags to riches save for now. I’m just waiting to see what happens with the next patch, I really hope they fix this since I’m really looking forward to the knitting pack. I really hope the bugs can be fixed in older saves too, because my legacy is filled with them now. I really don’t want to have to go back on all the progress and be set back a whole generation. I’m still very thankful I backed up my saves before the EP & patches, as I’ve had that save since 2017.
I am about ready to do the same until the next patch, Kita. All I have been doing is watching pets and testing different scenarios for nearly a month with little progress to report. LOL Hubby will be home on Sunday, but he will be quarantined in the RV for two weeks again. He'll be sitting in the yard, in sight, but untouchable. But the good news in all of this is he has finally decided to retire completely, and told his partners to come up with a fair exit plan for him. I sold my business when we decided to retire early a couple years ago then he was pulled back in when one of the other partners had to leave because of health reasons, and we ended up travelling from job site to job site in the RV off and on, since then. I guess the night I was stranded made him realize he is needed at home more than at a job site hundreds of miles away. On New Years Eve I told him my one resolution for the year was to spend less time with him on the road because I missed being at home too much. Then the whole COVID-19 thing came along and life changed. The time we spent in isolation allowed him to reconnect with the things that he loves to do such as planting stuff in his greenhouse, restoring his 'muscle' cars, fishing with his buddies, and just enjoying having the spare time to do those things. It all finally made him realize it's okay to say enough, kick back, and live the life we worked eleven years to have. I couldn't be happier he made this decision. After twelve years of being together, we're going to actually be together every day. And that is amazing.
