Used to be when you open fridge and hover cursor over food, it would tell you how long until it spoiled. Now there's no such indication at all it will spoil and I've had food int he fridge for weeks that does not spoil ? I always put plates back into the fridge that were not finished (click and drag) and now I'm wondering if it doesn't "fill the plate" back up - seems I don't run out of leftovers and I haven't cooked for several weeks in-game time.Similar things happening to anyone else?Does food in fridge no longer ever spoil?

Freshly made food still shows how long till it spoils, even after you put it in the fridge, but not the stuff that was already in there. I saved my game after adding a couple of dishes (pre-made brownies and vegetable dumplings) and next time I'm in game I'll see if those items are no longer showing spoiled time.

Same here, food in the fridge no longer spoils. But I've had the timer come back by putting the food in my sims inventory and travelling to another lot. My sim has the party animal aspiration so I had her take some food she made earlier to a party venue. Not sure if it works all the time though.As for being able to clean out spoiled food without the green cloud coming from the fridge, that's an empty group meal platter. That is normal, once you've taken all the leftovers from that meal, the large plate remains in the fridge and is empty. At least that part is still working as intended then :joy:

I've notice that also. Not complaining, but it does seem like a 'bug'. Funny that a glass of water still expires in a few hours and goes all septic though. :D

I've notice that also. Not complaining, but it does seem like a 'bug'. Funny that a glass of water still expires in a few hours and goes all septic though. :D

I noticed that and it’s kind of frustrating because my sims likes to make food all the time and my fridge is full of unspoiled food and it’s not realistic at all

I've experienced that food initially shows expiry but later this disappeared. I've no idea what occurs to cause this.

I've not had the Harry Potter style food refill though.

I've had this happen, but only with food that was left out/unfinished. I haven't had any spoilage of leftover food in the fridge between reloads.

Food in the fridge spoils in my game. There is no animation with the green spoiled gas coming out of the fridge but when I click on the fridge sometimes I get the clean out spoiled food interaction.

Yeah are our sims drinking raw water or something?

I've noticed this too actually. Have to clean out spoiled food in the fridge once in awhile.
