I think it's quite interesting to see with who the non played sims shows up at restaurants. If it's family, friends or someone completely random. This happen in my game (the laptop install) about two years ago and it was very random. I had teenage Alexander Goth on a date with his very hot girlfriend (yes she is) and all of the sudden every guest in the restaurant stood up and preformed this "See what's happening" interaction. I'm not sure but even the staff may have looked. And there was a sound like "Ohh" followed by some whisper. And they all stood there staring on this adult woman (a playable in the game) and some totally random sims who must be younger then her and that I'm sure is not related to the family. Even funnier was that the woman made a face like "Oh no, they spotted me..". ;) :D
