I'm totally on board with updating EPs! Get to Work and Island Living are the worst offenders for this.
I think the big thing I find is that Active Careers are just no good unless you go hard or go home. Unless they were going to make a fully realised hospital/police related gameplay then I just don't think it's worth it. Even the acting career just wasn't as fun as they made out and more of an excuse for the team to use cardboard setting over substance.
For me the semi active careers/freelancer careers work much better over the active careers.
