Getting the butler to cook

Maybe you have to get to know he butler b4 he will cook for you...my sim sat down b4 asking him to do anything, maybe that's the key.

But the meal he cooked was for one.

mine has been cooking food nonstop lmao

I assigned my butler to cook breakfast, but he also automatically cooked lunch/dinner... so I think are able to request it But also he will just cook auto during mealtimes? That's my guess.

I've never had to ask mine to cook.

Sounds like a broken mod if you use mods. Check back with the original download page to see if the creator updated. Patches often break mods (and custom content).

When you click the butler, is there a little bell in the menu? Cook should be there.

There is a bell menu, but only sing, play, make drinks etc in there.

Tried this, still nothing. Going to try and hire some caterers, see if there is the same problem.

Maybe the problem lies with depending on what your Sims gourmet and cooking skills are? If the level is high perhaps the script in the butler knows you're able to cook a higher quality meal. (May be assuming the script to be too smart) On mine it only shows play piano, make drinks, and break the dance floor or something like that?

@DeadFishy @Aeroprincess87 if you have any mods or CC at all, try pulling those out.

Strange. My butler won't stop cooking. :p
