simgirl1010 Will we be able to use the codes of creators to give them a little more return for their kits? Does The Sims post anywhere else besides X about upcoming packs and news? I don't see anything about this on the Info Hub.
lanlynk, yes you can use their Creator Codes. PEACEMAKER and CRYPTICSIM.
You can find Sims 4 news here. https://www.ea.com/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/news
News is usually posted first on X. As you can see, yesterday's kit announcement has not been posted on the Sims news site.

simgirl1010 Thank you. I looked at EA game news earlier and didn't see anything yet. Good to know they are usually a day or two late.
Lilsimsie just posted a video on the kits about an hour ago. She also talks about the creators. 🙂

The Grange Mudroom seems so contemporary. I'm not too sure if this can even fit with at least my Georgian to Guilded Age game save, because I'm an historical/fantasy player with my Sims 4. I'll have to see if there's more objects to see if this kit is worth it. As for the Essential Glam, where's the rest of the makeup?

I think the only one that interest me .Is the glam kit.
Officially the most kits we've got in a year but these look really good. These are very familiar names to me even though I never use cc. Can't wait to see these in game. Creator kits maybe one of the best ideas ea has come up with (apart from the price)

The integrated bench in the mudroom kit looks interesting. Not interested in female make-up though.
I'm going to have to do some major renovations to fit that green hall tree.

So apparently, according to TikTok and every simmer on the internet who has eyes sharper than an eagle, we’ve got twobrand-new Sims kits dropping soon—and honestly, I’m intrigued. The first one? A mudroom kit. Now, confession time: when I first heard “mudroom,” I had absolutely no idea what that meant. I thought maybe it was some kind of spa room for clay facials or a dungeon where sims wrestle in puddles. But no—it’s basically just a fancy entryway. Think of it as a staging area where you can dump your shoes, hang your coats, park your umbrellas, and pretend your Sims have their lives together.
In real life, mudrooms exist to keep moms from going full WWE mode when you track mud all over their freshly cleaned floors. (I swear, my childhood would’ve been spoon-free if we’d had one.) In the Sims, though? It’s basically for vibes. Will I actually use all those little shoe racks, coat hooks, and wicker baskets? Probably not as often as I should. Will I still hand over my Simoleons for the kit without hesitation? Absolutely. Because let’s be honest: collecting Sims kits is like collecting Pokémon—you gotta have ‘em all, even if half of them sit in the menu untouched.
Now, the second kit has me way more excited: a makeup kit! Finally, EA heard our cries. More makeup options are coming, and I’m ready to paint my Sims’ faces like I’m about to send them down a Milan runway. I’ve never been big on Custom Content (because I know once I start, my Mods folder will explode like a black hole), so having official Maxis-made makeup means I don’t have to risk breaking my game just for a decent eyeliner. What I’m hoping for is a mix: give me some natural everyday looks, give me bold glam for when my Sim is living her best nightlife, and please—please—don’t just dump another round of “face paint” swatches that make my Sims look like they lost a paintball war.
If they do it right, this kit could be a game-changer. Imagine actually having a nice variety of lipsticks, highlighters, blushes, and eyeliners that don’t look like they were drawn on by a toddler with crayons. The possibilities for storytelling and CAS screenshots alone have me hyped.
So yeah, between dodging imaginary wooden spoons in the mudroom and giving my Sims a glow-up worthy of a beauty influencer, I’ll be grabbing both kits the second they drop. Whether I use them consistently is another story, but hey—that’s future me’s problem. For now, I’m just excited to watch my Sims strut through their perfectly accessorized entryway with eyeliner sharp enough to cut glass.
Whose childhood trauma is triggered by the thought of muddy shoes on a clean floor?
What makeup items do you hope they add -- lipsticks, eyeliners, blush, or something else.
Be honest...are you actually going to use a mudroom in your Sims builds, or will it just collect digital dust?
