Have you tried cheating the repeal yet?

Also please state that you are on console.

As this is IN console discussions, one would assume that folk would know I was on console.

I do not use cheats, as I do not want to disable my achievements, nor do I even know how to use them lol. Will it not disable achievements to use cheats?

I certainly had assumed that you were on console when this issue had occurred.

Yes, but the bug report is for PC, so when posting in it it would help to state that you have this issue on console as well. There is no need to be defensive about it.

I do not play on console, but according to this pinned post on AHQ, achievements are disabled when cheating, with some cheats as exceptions to that:

Edit: Just as a note, while the player who made the post are on console, and very capable; it is not an official information from EA, and the players on AHQ are not affiliated with EA, and what they say is not representative for anything than their own opinions.

So if you want official source, I cannot help you, I could not find it, perhaps you have better luck searching yourself.

The reason why I had asked was because cheats can sometimes solve or temporarily fix an issue with the game.
Example: Two of my sims have been getting stuck in the hot springs while I was playing on the PS4 last weekend. I had tried every normal way of getting them out of that hot spring to no end. They were still stuck in the hot springs. That is until I had resort to the Resetsim cheat to get them unstuck.
