Happy Birthday to the Sims 4!

The highlight for me was the introduction of toddlers on January 12, 2017. 😊 Nothing before, or after, has topped that for me. 

Happy Birthday to the sims 4 🎉🎂🥳 best thing for me was when they added science babies. I'd been working on completing my trophy list on PlayStation for about two years and this addition helped me finally get my platinum trophy, I was over the moon when I saw the notification for the platinum ping and literally did a fist pump and shouted "Yes" so loudly I made our cat jump 😁 I remember getting city living, I'd waited ages for it to be on sale and of course it did the day before I went on holiday for two weeks so I couldn't play it until I came back, I was naughty and told work I was held up coming home just to get an extra day off so I could play city living 😆 I'd come from playing sims games on the Nintendo DS and Wii when I first played TS4 not actually controlling my sim was weird and it took me a while to get used to that, but I'm glad I stuck with it as the sims 4 is one of my favourite games ever ❤️ 

Same. Mine was also when Toddlers got added on that day. I felt really happy to bring back my most favourite sim. Jack Zhang :) Seeing Jack for the first time in sims 4 made my day :) My main family wasn't the same without all the toddlers. That update really change my sims 4 gameplay. Second moment was infants added. Not only Bringing back Pixel to her normal lifestage but also bring back some aspects of babies from the previous games and making them better like being able to choose clothes and hair. Along with cute family gameplay even though they can be glitchy of time. I started playing sims 4 when city living came out so I wasn't there for launch as my pc back then couldn't run it. Sims 4 in the UK though didn't come out for us until September 5th. We had to wait 3 extra days.

My highlight was free sims4 week over at Origin, or I most likely would have never played it and stayed in ts2 or stopped completely playing. 

That's wild to me, cause I've played it off and on my husband and I have been married 16 years, so this game has been with me so long I just hang on lol. It hasn't always been perfect sure but I keep coming back for a few minutes or hours that isn't much of an inbetween. Happy birthday sims 4

My highlight was when the Vampires pack dropped, which was also the week that Toddlers were surprise-dropped as well. When the Vampires pack was teased and the trailer came out, the Occult players all came out of the shadows to celebrate, and the Game Pack section of the old forum came to life with excitement. It was wild because the forum energy in general had been kind of blah up until then because players were so upset that Toddlers weren't in the game. I remember SimGuru Ninja came into the forums to have discussions with us and throw hints about the pack and we were having a blast. The energy had completely changed. But then it got even better...

The devs kept the pre-pack patch very quiet and only talked about Vampires and general changes. And when the patch went live, the Toddlers appeared and the announcement was made and ohmygod the forums blew up like crazy with excitement and some players were even in tears because they were so happy and nobody expected it. 

That was a glorious week for almost everyone on the forums, and to see the place go from gloom to exhilaration and threads blowing up everywhere for Vampires and Toddlers alike, it was magic. 🖤💖

The Sims 4 has been one of the best Sims games ever made and one of the best selling Sims games ever. 😇

It's been years since The Sims 4 was released back in 2014. As I already created my simself and his friends and family, and the builds, I've been a master of buying all packs.

As I search six radio stations centered around my nationality, here's a story, OK? So when I first started manifesting hip hop and R&B stations before a dedicated reggae station, my wishlist has six radio stations from expansion packs, game packs, stuff packs, as well as the base game. And when R&B and reggae didn't make it in the 2010s decade, I can't give up.

So the first radio station I discover after City Living and Vintage Glamour Stuff in 2016, and Vampires in 2017 is "NuDisco". It's a modern form of disco with some nu-disco songs alongside old and classic disco songs from The Sims: House Party expansion pack. I added it since the developers on livestream mentions "NuDisco".

Back in 2018, Latin station (Traditional Latin, not Latin Pop) is the second one I recently search, they should've added back to the base game even if they release Lovestruck expansion pack in 2024 that has a Mexican-inspired world called Ciudad Enamorada. Latin station has 5 songs incorporating music genres from Latin America, for real. I wish they should added to the base game, but my simself and his family are proud of their Caribbean/Puerto Rican roots. This one was already on my wishlist.

The third one on my wishlist is... hip hop radio station as I've spent 4 years of manifesting it since it was lacked in Get Together as an actual radio station, City Living, and Cats & Dogs expansion packs. Originally from Get Famous back in 2018, it has 6 songs. The hip hop has been added to the base game featuring 6 songs back in 2019. With 2 songs added with For Rent in 2023, 1 for Lovestruck in 2024, 1 for Businesses & Hobbies and 2 for Adventure Awaits in 2025. This one was already on my wishlist as well.

Back in 2023, soul station... which'll be the fourth one, so it has 5 songs, they incorporated disco, Philly soul, and funky music. I also added it on my wishlist since they confirmed "Soul radio station" for Growing Together expansion pack. R&B as a fifth wish when it was still on my wishlist after it didn't make it as a Growing Together EP-pre patch feature, R&B has 11 songs which made me happy, and added with 2 R&B songs from For Rent and 1 R&B song from Lovestruck expansion packs.

So the last and final remaining radio station on my wishlist is a reggae station which needs to come back otherwise I will end my The Sims 4 era. First it didn't came to Island Living, because it centers around Hawaiian/Polynesian cultures rather than Caribbean, then a Poolside Splash Kit-pre patch which features random colors rather than Caribbean textures, Riveria Retreat Kit-pre patch which is Mediterranean, then Lovestruck which centers around Mexican cultures, then summer 2025 which already announced Enchanted by Nature with fairies, Adventure Awaits which centers around New Zealand/Oceanian culture before the simmers kept spamming "fix your game" too many times, and finally Royalty & Legacy which centers around African and European cultures (Italian/French and Portuguese), with an African kingdom named Dembele being added, it features Afrobeats station which has been described as a West African music genre. There's gotta be an opportunity for reggae to show up before the end of 2026.
